I REALLY REALLY REALLY love this post with the scenarios because I usually don't shop Walgreens due to their ridiculous rules and limits on their walgreens register rewards. So I am going to try them out this week, thanks to this post! One question though: one each of those transactions, are there more items than coupons? I've had a problem with Walgreens not letting me use my register rewards because they are considered "manufacturer coupons" and I have more coupons than items. That REALLY makes me mad. Just about stopped shopping there all together--- told the clerk it was dishonest for me to earn this $$ and then not allow me to use it because I used other coupons. Let me know what you think!
Also, we don't have a rite aid nearby right? I always see you post rite aid's deals and used to have them in CA, but haven't seen them here anywhere which is a bummer cuz they do have some great deals!
Thanks! Missed you over the weekend! Julie
Hey, thanks Julie! I'm glad you appreciated this- I think I'm going to do these line-ups every week.
So, yes- I tried to be careful and make sure there are not more coupons than items in each transaction. To be sure, Trans. #1= 1 item, 1 coupon. Trans #2= 3 items, 3 coupons. Trans #3= 13 items, 12 coupons. Trans. #4= 7 items, 6 coupons- yay!
I know what you mean about Walgreens- not my favorite, but there are still some great deals. Plus, I sometimes luck out (a lot here in Texas) with an extra super nice checker that pushes everything through even though it beeps. The system if super testy.
No Rite Aid in TX- I wish! I still post the deals for my Utah friends (and beyond.) My sis-in-law totally cleaned up there today, she made like $60! Hope to see you soon!
