New Target coupons!
I got an awesome booklet of Target store coupons in the mail today! So excited! I wanted to do a big list of match-ups with other manufacturer's coupons for you, but I'm going on a date with my husband tonight! So, watch for your booklet because all the store coupons may be used WITH manufacturer's coupons for MORE savings! Use a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon together on the same item, it's almost like doubling your coupons at Family Fresh Foods!
Also, check out coupons.com and print their new coupons! They have some awesome Dial coupons (I'm still thinking Kmart doubles!), and a lot of cheese coupons available today. Have fun- I'll be back on Monday morning with more HOT deals!

Recipe of the week: Barbeque sauce
Barbeque sauce is something that is usually on sale in the summertime. What about the other months of the year? We still crave the barbeque taste even when it's snowing outside, right?Try mixing up this quick and easy barbeque sauce. It's made from some very basic ingredients that I hope you already have in your pantry. There are probably some recipes for barbeque sauce out there that are even more homemade, as this one skips a few steps and uses ketchup. If you have a fabulous recipe for Barbeque Sauce, will you please leave it in the comments section of this post?
Basic Barbeque Sauce
1 c. ketchup
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
or 1 T. dried minced onion
1/4 c. vinegar
1 T. Worshestershire sauce
Several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce
Combine all the above ingredients in a saucepan. Add 1/2 c. water and 1/4 t. salt. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer 10-15 minutes or to desired consistency. Brush or pour onto beef, pork, or poultry during the last 20 minutes of grilling or roasting. Makes 1 3/4 cups.
Variations:
Hot-Style Barbeque Sauce
Add 1 t. chili powder and 1/2 t. ground red pepper with the ketchup in the above recipe.
Tangy Mustard Barbeque Sauce
Prepare as above, but add 2 T. prepared mustard and 1/4 t. garlic powder with the ketchup.
I used my barbeque sauce with the super cheap chicken deals I've been getting lately (and I hope you have been to!) to make this chicken dinner.
Because of the amazing 25 cent chicken leg sale at Fresh Market in December, and the chicken sale this week at Macey's, this chicken dish cost around $1.00 to make! I already had the basic ingredients for the sauce on hand, as well, so that helps immensely! That's an amazing cheap chicken dinner price for a family of 5!
