CVS Deals 11/21-11/24 + Double Ad Saturdays?!

I learned a VERY valuable piece of information from my friend Julie. She told me that CVS has Double Ad Saturdays! WOW! This is GREAT news for non-Sunday shoppers (like me). I just called my local CVS and the way each store handles this varies. The manager I talked to said she had just activated the new sales in the stores' computers as of 10:30 a.m. and that it takes about 1 hour to be ready to go. I asked her if all CVS stores honor the double ad Saturday, and she said that it's up to the manager of the store. So, BE SURE to call ahead and see if your CVS participates in Double Ad Saturdays! YAY!

From now on, CVS deals are going up on Savvy Sister Shops on Saturdays, so everyone with a Double Ad Saturday CVS around can take advantage of both weeks' sales. This is also good news for all those great CVS coupons you get via e-mail and that expire on Sundays as well!

Awesome Daily Deals: Rangers & Cowboys Tours & more!

WOW! Today is a big sports day on the daily deal sites! First up, Groupon is offering tour tickets at a big discount for the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. I saw this stadium for the first time last weekend- the place is unbelievable! My lucky husband was able to go to a game when he first moved here to work. Our brother-in-law's work paid for the tickets- just $350 each! Whoa. Those are definitely not in our budget.

This deal is a great way to get in and see the stadium without paying a HUGE amount of money to do it. Self-guided tour tickets are $9 (normally $17.50 for adults, $14.50 for children 5–12 and seniors) and $15 for a VIP guided tour (regularly $27.50 for adults, $22.50 for children and seniors). I think my husband's favorite part of the stadium was one of "the largest video screens in the world." (What guy wouldn't love that?!) This is a great gift idea for the Cowboys fan in your family!

Next up are tickets for a tour of the Texas Rangers Stadium! This stadium is right next to the Cowboys Stadium, so why not hit them both in the same day? These tickets are $5 for adults (normally $10), and $3 for children (regularly $5 each), kids 4 and under are FREE.

See the Rangers clubhouse, batting cages, press box, City of Arlington Suite, dugouts in a one-hour guided tour. As soon as you get your tickets, you can use them as early as next week! Off-season tours are offered in November and December. Then open again for tours in season April-September. Read more about the tour on the Texas Rangers website. (But buy the discount tickets through the link above- the Texas Rangers site still has the regular prices listed.) Another great gift idea for big Rangers fans!

And, as long as you are out and about on your "sports studium tours" you may want to grab a bite to eat! Get $20 at The Brazilian Cowboy for $10! Here's what this Juice in the City deal had to say about The Brazilian Cowboy:
