Got rewards?

Did you get your gold envelope today? Ooooh..... I'm so excited! $5 off my next purchase and tons of MANUFACTURER's coupons! Remember you can use these manufacturer's coupons elsewhere. (Like Family Fresh Foods, where they will be doubled!) Family Fresh Foods is not accepting these coupons!

Coupons I'm taking to Family Fresh Foods are:
.75/1 Lady Speed Stick = $1.50 off $2, deoderant for 50 cents!
$2/3 Suave hair care products= 3 for $1.50, 50 cents each!
$1/2 General Mills products= more super cheap cereal!
.75/1 Musselman's applesauce products = ?? I'm going to check the price tomorrow! $1.50 off!
$1/2 Betty Crocker cake decorating items= FREE sprinkles?

Did you get some exciting coupons, too? Let us know what you got in your mailbox!

Oh, and I'll also go to Smith's to cash in my FREE $5!
I'm also going to print a .75/1 Pepperidge Farms Goldfish crackers here and get those for 13 cents with my next shopping trip! I love it!

FFF won't take my Manf. Q's with the Target logo. Are you sure they will take the Manf. Q's with Smiths logo?(I know they are Man. Q's and not store ones but in my experience this has been a no go)

So far Family Fresh Foods has taken my Target logo Manufacturer's coupons twice- I used the $1 off Northern bath tissue and they didn't even look at it twice the first time. The second time the checker was unsure, but the asst. manager was there and said it was fine.
The manufacturer's coupon with logos all have info on them to mail them into the manufacturer- they are being paid from the manufacturer!
I'm going to try my Smith's manufacturer's there tomorrow and I'll let you know how it goes.
I used a Smith's manufacturer coupon at Wal-mart tonight without a hitch!

Heather,
I am still confused about the double couponing at FFF. The first time I went they doubled all of my coupons. Then I thought I saw they were only doubling coupons up to $1.00. If I go in with a $1.50 off coupon are they going to double it to $3.00 off the product, without any overage of course???

Hi Amy,
You may want to read this: http://savvysistershops.blogspot.com/2010/01/rules-for-using-double-coupons.html to review all the double coupon in-and-outs. What they are saying is that they will double a coupon that is $1 face value and it becomes $2 off.
Any coupon over the value of $1 will be taken at face value. The maximum we can get when doubling coupons is $2 off.
Happy shopping!

I understood it that a coupon of $1.50 would be valued at $2.00. That has been my experience. Apparently YMMV depending on the cashier.

YMMV

What does YMMv mean?

'Your Mileage May Vary'- I think Anon. is saying that it just depends on your cashier as to how far your coupon may be valued!
I think this doubling is new to everybody, but soon they'll all know the proper 'rules' and we'll all get the same deal!
