Time Buddy Review & Giveaway! -CLOSED-

There's a new toy on the market that I want to tell you about: Time Buddy! The makers of Time Buddy were kind enough to send us one, so we could try it out and tell you how we like it!

First of all, Time Buddy comes with plenty of accessories and stickers. This is a clock designed for children ages 3-7. My son is 6, so this is a perfect fit for him.

You use the stickers for Time Buddy to plan activities in your day. This is great for children that are learning how time works. When Time Buddy's hand points to a special activity for your children, they'll know it's time to go! "In a minute" or "We'll go in 2 hours" may mean the same thing to small children! Time Buddy is designed to help your child learn more about time and time management.

Here's my Thomas when he got Time Buddy. He was super excited to add the stickers. He also loved the Time Buddy Activity Booklet. He was very serious about completing each page! I guess 1st grade will do that to you.

Here's his completed clock! He has his regular school day mapped out: breakfast, school time, lunch (pancake sticker?), and home at 3 p.m. Thomas absolutely adores digits, so he added all the numbers to the Time Buddy Face as well!

Some other fun features of Time Buddy include the light-up face, record your child's name (they simply press a button to hear it played back), record a message, and 3 alarms may be set for the day! If you'd like to see more, watch this You Tube video about Time Buddy:

Time Buddy has also agreed to give a Savvy Sister Shops reader a Time Buddy clock of your own! To enter the Time Buddy giveaway, please enter a comment on this blog post for EACH entry:

1. Tell me how you would use Time Buddy! Also leave your name and e-mail address for easy delivery to our winner. (You may want to write out your e-mail address to reduce spam.)

2. 'Like'
Time Buddy on Facebook. (Time Buddy may also be found on Twitter.)

3. 'Like
Savvy Sister Shops on Facebook. Or, tell me if you already do!

4. Follow Savvy Sister Shops through Google Friends Connect. Just click the button on the right side of this page.

5. Follow
TheSavvySister on Twitter!

That's it! The winning entry will be picked by random.org on Tues. Oct. 26 at 4 p.m. CST. Good luck with your entries! Some lucky children are really going to enjoy Time Buddy!

If you don't want to wait for the giveaway, you can order your own Time Buddy from the Time Buddy website. Time Buddy is $34.99 and you can get FREE shipping with this code: SSS148blog

I would use it the same way you did. Teach my son how to plan and use time and I would definitely use the alarm for different activities like tv watching or waiting from grandma or a friend to come. Paige

I would use time buddy with my 3 1/2 year old son who has no concept of time. He will ask me if its lunch time, and when told no he just asks again 2 minutes later. He also doesnt understand that there is a time to wake up in the morning, and a time to sleep, and I hope that a time buddy would help him understand when its still sleepy time!
