CVS Deals 11/21-11/24 + Double Ad Saturdays?!

I learned a VERY valuable piece of information from my friend Julie. She told me that CVS has Double Ad Saturdays! WOW! This is GREAT news for non-Sunday shoppers (like me). I just called my local CVS and the way each store handles this varies. The manager I talked to said she had just activated the new sales in the stores' computers as of 10:30 a.m. and that it takes about 1 hour to be ready to go. I asked her if all CVS stores honor the double ad Saturday, and she said that it's up to the manager of the store. So, BE SURE to call ahead and see if your CVS participates in Double Ad Saturdays! YAY!

From now on, CVS deals are going up on Savvy Sister Shops on Saturdays, so everyone with a Double Ad Saturday CVS around can take advantage of
both weeks' sales. This is also good news for all those great CVS coupons you get via e-mail and that expire on Sundays as well!

So now that you can compare Rite Aid and CVS, which one do you think has better deals?? We moved from Utah to Ohio where we have CVS but I don't think I can keep track of TWO drug store's (with the SCR's and Extra Bucks) so I am still shopping Rite Aid. But your list looks pretty dang good for CVS! So let's have it sister, which one do you think has better deals??

Hi Hillary!
Well, I think you should definitely give CVS a try if you haven't shopped the deals there yet. The good news is, you have the 2 best options for shopping drug stores there are!
I've been having a fabulous time shopping at CVS the past couple months. It's really been amazing! When you start out at CVS, you will be able to print a $4/$20 coupon with your CVS and registering online.
Then, you always get more coupons at the 'coupon center' and sometimes when you checkout. I went yesterday to get the Loreal cosmetics on clearance and walked out with just over $200 worth for 92 cents! I won't have to buy blush or foundation for a few years. CVS also gave me a $10/$50 coupon at the coupon center and another $5/$15 coupon at checkout yesterday. I personally LOVE FREE money!
Rite Aid is awesome, too- I moved shortly after they implemented the +UP rewards, so you can get freebies every week there as well. One advantage of CVS is no waiting for the rewards like you do with the SCR's. I say give CVS a try- you'll love it!
